We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, functionality, or uninterrupted operation of the Software.

2. License of Use

License Grant

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MapApp for lawful, personal, academic, or internal business purposes.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code
Distribute, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit the Software
Use the Software in a manner that violates applicable laws or infringes on third-party rights

3. Data Responsibility

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of any data you upload or process through MapApp. Unless optional cloud features are enabled, all data remains on your local device.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and integrity of the data you use.

4. Updates and Modifications

Software Updates

We may, at our discretion, provide updates, bug fixes, or enhancements. We are not obligated to maintain or support the Software beyond what is reasonably feasible.

5. Third-Party Services

External Integrations

MapApp may offer optional integration with external mapping services (e.g., Google Maps, OpenStreetMap). Use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, independent of MapApp Technologies, Inc.

6. Limitation of Liability

Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapApp Technologies, Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software, including but not limited to loss of data, system failure, or business interruption.

Termination Rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MapApp at any time, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

8. Governing Law

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in San Francisco County, CA.
